Vision statement

We compassionately connect to ourselves, each other and the environment and contribute towards a thriving planet

Mission statement

We seek to create sustainability in all areas.

In regards to Self

We aim to live our passion and respect our needs and resources. NVC, Aima, Family constellations, dragon dreaming, daily meditation, healthy meals, being physically active and other tools supports us in living from our hearts, reconnecting with our selves, communicating clearer, clarifying direction, dealing with emotions etc

In regards to relationships

We aim to contribute from a place of surplus, rather than from a place of obligation. We believe it is an innate quality in people to want to contribute, once their own basic needs are taken care of. We percieve lack of contribution to the community as a sign that basic needs aren’t being met or that the person isn’t in the right place. It may seem like a paradox to build community through reconnecting with our selves, but we believe it is the only real way to prevent and resolve conflicts.

In regards to society

Through our example, educational activities and participating in local and global networks, we seek to inspire the world around us to take the next steps towards a sustainable life. We aim to create or participate in local, fair & sustainable businesses, so we may make our living by doing what we love to do, while we contribute to the society around us.

In regards to the Earth

We aim to eat 95% vegan, grow our own foods, buy locally, consume with awareness, build sustainable, be as much off-grid as possible in regards to utilities, so that we may leave a better earth for the next generations to come.

We strive towards

  • Caring about ourselves, each other and the planet!
  • Leave a better earth for the next generations to come

Personal and collective development

  • Open and explorative attitude.
  • Supporting each other in finding our own paths in regards to relationships, sexuality, spirituality, etc without imposing our view or practice onto someone else.
  • Integrity. Personal responsibility. The law of attraction. Our perspective creates our experience.

Economical freedom. Making our money through doing what we are passionate about.

Work is love in action

Transparency. All information must be available for everybody.

Energetic approach to life. (Natural law)

  • Living in alignment with the seasons
  • Working with nature
  • Respecting animals and other human beings
  • Working with the rhythms of the universe

Circular economy – Using waste from one process as a resource for another.

Collaboration – locally and globally

General Strategy

  • Develop a social model, where we celebrate life & focus on each others divine core (sacred inner nature)
  • Find a healthy balance between caring for personal needs and for the needs of the community based on the understanding that we will not be able to contribute long-run unless we take well care of ourselves.
  • Live according to natural law and support our own and each others personal growth through applying an energetic perspective to the best of our knowledge to daily life, for example through applying the macrobiotic philosophy.
  • Striving for food sustainability
    • 95% or more vegan
    • 80% or more local foods (preferably grown by ourselves)
    • Balanced and nutritionally complete meals for everybody in our community every day
    • Minimize stimulants in daily life (sugar, coffee, alcohol, recreational drugs etc are usually imported from far away and they don’t contribute to our vision of connecting with ourselves, each other or the environment).
    • Raising awareness that all life force originates from the sun, whether we eat, breathe or absorb it as sensory impressions.
  • Taking responsibility for expressing and fulfilling personal needs, drivers and tensions to the best of our ability, rather than blaming others as the reasons for them not being fulfilled or compensating with food, stimulants, unbalanced activities, inappropriate circumstances etc. Tools we make an effort to use include (but are not limited to)
    • NVC (Compassionate communication)
    • Aima (tools for self reflection)
    • Family constellations
    • Prayer
    • Expressing appreciation
  • Striving to raise our children to think for themselves and encourage their relationships with the world.
  • Using sociocracy as our chosen governing structure, so that all are heard and nobody overrun by majority decisions that go against basic needs and drivers.
  • Caring for the planet through
    • Being conscious consumers
    • Choosing organic, local and fairtrade whenever possible.
    • Take up the challenge to transform any waste into a resource for something else (so nothing is wasted)
  • Developing a Peoples College, off grid green heat and powerplant, which also produces bio-char and fertilizer, and other green projects and eco-preneurships which contributes towards a thriving planet.
  • Creating or actively engaging in local and global networks between Eco-enterprises, such as LØS, Gen, permaculture, transition network and alike.
  • Using a Fair Share model in our businesses to make sure that
    • power and wealth are shared in a fair way between all primary stakeholders such as founders, investors, workers and users (consumers).
    • Goods and services offered are being ethically reviewed
    • Goods and services offered are being ethically produced and distributed
    • Social purpose are specified and the social impact audited
    • A social and democratic model is used in regards to ownership, governance and management of capital (read more here:

  1. Decide on a location, where establishing a Green Peoples College is aligned with the municipal plan, and where homes and green projects and businesses may be established later. Preferably a location, where the blue aspect of the Peoples College can be included. We are currently looking at several options.
  2. Secure support from the local community & the municipality
  3. Establish/continue working groups on Peoples College, off-grid heat and power plant, which also will produce bio-char and be CO2 negative as well as other appropriate parts of the project.
  4. Adjust statutes, mentorship program, existing drawings of houses, budget’s and prices of homes to this location
  5. Clarify, who is actually committed to this location.
  6. Secure our financial situation. Who has how much to invest in the project? What do we need to borrow?
  7. Buy the place.

  1. Firstmovers move in.
  2. Peoples College start up and acts as a leverage to explore and co-create our community culture, while students design the ecovillage and green businesses and projects to sustain their personal livelihood and is trained in sociocracy and other general skills that enhances ecovillage living.
  3. From there the whole project naturally unfolds, as members lands in their personal situation.
  4. We become a registered Transition Initiative.
  5. We become a registered LAND-center (Permaculture )

What each member must do

This doesn’t come for free. We must learn to live without using the resources of the future and with a constant willingness to learn new ways & things, develop ourselves, balance self-care and work for the community. The burdockroot on the image symbolizes that we need to be solidly grounded and the butterfly our need for transformation.

  • Each member must make a personal plan for their contribution to the community mission based on that their own needs, aspirations and intentions is taken care of at the same time.
  • Educate themselves in the sociocratic decision making process and other appropriate skills for living in community.
  • Each member must actively participate in at least one working group, which resonate with their personal plans & skills. For example finances, farming, landscaping, community building …..
  • Respond swiftly to all communication regarding meetings, dates and times
  • Commit to resolve issues before they escalate
