It takes a lot of resources to build a dream as big as OASIS. Time, work, money, skills, ideas.
We are a private organization. The future shareholders and aspiring future shareholders invest a lot of time, work, skills and ideas and even money into participating in and traveling to various meetings and workshops, creating the website, doing research and learning from other projects as well as administrating this project.
By becoming a member – minimum 300 DDK per adult per year – you show your support to the manifestation of our vision. You are automatically joined to our waiting list, although you need to go through our mentorship program to become a shareholder.
As a thank-you for your support, we offer you some benefits in the form of discounts in certain OASIS related businesses.
Once you’ve participated in an introductory meeting and paid your membership (300 DKK per year), you will be invited to participate in our mentorship program. The purpose of the mentorship program is to make sure you got all your questions answered and know how we function as a group.
Your mentor will answer your questions and invite you to participate in our decision making so we can get to know each other.
Once you’ve gone through the mentorship program, you will be eligible to become a shareholder (if there is a vacant share) and become part of our community according to your place on the waiting list.
Whether you invest time or money you will be rewarded well.
You may choose whether your investment supports Oasis Eco-village, the blue-green peoples college or a particular Ecopreneurship or green project.
Once we buy the property we will have 2 jobs for people, who like working with volunteers to be leaders of the parts of the building process that doesn’t have to be done by certified companies.
Contact us about the specifics if you are interested. We are happy to share our budget and other information with you, so that you can make your own assessment of the safety of the project. Since we already have future shareholders for the first phase of the project and consider to combine phase one and two and other eco-villages tend to have waiting lists that are ten tiems as long as their number of homes, we consider it extremely safe. It is a well-know fact that houses in eco-villages are more expensive than those around and also that house prices in the surrounding area rises.
Thus we expect that our waiting list will fill up very fast the moment there is green light to start the project for real.
